Dear Tom,

   I’m sorry to tell you that our plans for Sunday will have to be cancelled. We planned to play football and go to the bookstore to buy some books on Sunday morning, but I can’t go with you because my grandfather is ill. He is in hospital in my hometown. I’m concerned about him and I’ll go back to see him with my parents.

By the way, I was wondering if you could buy me an English-Chinese dictionary if you go to the bookstore tomorrow. I’ll be thankful for your help. Hopefully we can play football together next Sunday.
