Never shall I forget the first English lesson giving by Miss Liu. One Monday morning, when she entered the classroom, we found that she was a young or beautiful lady. Then she introduced herself and said they shouldn’t call her Teacher Liu but Miss Liu. Later, she asked us to go to the blackboard and said something about ourselves with English in turn. When it was my turn, I felt so shyly that I didn’t dare to say anything before the class. She went up to me and said kindly, “Don’t afraid I believe you can do them well” At the last, 1 went to the blackboard. She praised me for which I had done.

小題1:giving →given
小題2:or→ and
小題3:they→ we
小題4:said→ say
小題5:with→ in
小題6:shyly →shy
小題7:Don’t后加Be
小題8:them →it
小題9:At 后去掉the
小題10:which →what

1:giving →given 。Never shall I forget the first English lesson giving by Miss Liu.。
2:or→ and。we found that she was a young or beautiful lady.
3:they→ we。Then she introduced herself and said they shouldn’t call her Teacher Liu。
4:said→ say。she asked us to go to the blackboard and said something about ourselves with English in turn。and在句中連接兩個(gè)不定式短語(yǔ),第二個(gè)不定式前的to可以省去,所以把said改為say。
小題5:with→ in。……. and said something about ourselves with English in turn。“用某種語(yǔ)言”,介詞用in,所以把with改為in。
小題6:shyly →shy。I felt so shyly that I didn’t dare to say anything before the class.。
小題7:Don’t后加Be!癉on’t afraid …..”.
小題8:them →it !啊..I believe you can do them well”。
小題9:At 后去掉the。At the last, 1 went to the blackboard.。固定短語(yǔ):at last “最后”,所以把the去掉。
小題10:which →what。She praised me for which I had done。for前面沒(méi)有先行詞,所以后面不是定語(yǔ)從句,而是賓語(yǔ)從句,從句中缺少do的賓語(yǔ),故把which改為what。

Last winter vacation, some of my classmates decide to travel with their friends, while I chose to take a part-time job to gain experiences and earn some money. I learned from my teacher that a nearby company was looking after students with good handwriting to write addresses on envelope. The pay were 10 cents per envelope. I headed for the company, feel sure I would easy finish 300 envelops in five hours and to earn the money. Actually, I only finished 200. Now, I fully understand how hard is to earn money. Getting out of the classroom is indeed necessary for we all.

First Job Search Tips
Keep in mind that you may not get the first job you apply for, or the second... A job search can take time, especially if you don't have much experience. Here's how to ensure you're a top-notch candidate for the jobs you are applying for.
Be Persistent. Wait a few days, then follow-up your application with a phone call to the hiring manager reiterating your interest. If you have applied in person, stop in again and mention that you are really interested in the opportunity.
Don't Stop. Don't apply at one place and wait for the phone to ring. Complete as many job applications as you can, and consider a variety of positions.
小題2:   . Applicants who are only available for limited hours are less likely to get hired than those who are flexible as to when they can work. For example, one candidate for a summer job told the employer that they were only available on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Compare that to another applicant who selected "any" on the Hours Available section of the job applicant and you can see why the second applicant got the job.
Use Your Connections.  小題3:    . Does your mom shop regularly at the store where you'd like to work? If so, have her mention that you're looking for a job. That's how I got my first job and how my brother got his first job at the drug store across the street.
Dress Appropriately. When applying for jobs, dress as though you had the job. If you're applying for a retail position, for example, visit the store before you apply to see what the staff is wearing.
小題4:    . When in doubt, dress up, not down.
Don't Give Up. Job searching isn't easy, especially when you don't have much experience or many skills.  小題5:    . Your first job will be a stepping stone to your next job - and to your future career.
A.Don’t stop to look for a job.
B.The more you apply, the better chance you have of finding a job.
C.Be Flexible.
D.It will give you an idea as to how you should dress.
E.You shouldn’t apply for different jobs at the same time.
F.If you have a connection, use it.
G. Keep trying and keep applying and you will find a job.
