There has been a heated discussion about whether we high school students should take the military training in my class.

Some students, who consider military training an important part of the education of national defense , think military training quite necessary. In their eyes, it is one of the best ways to improve the students’ personal qualities.

Others raise objections to the opinion. Their concerns are the September hot weather in Chongqing and teenagers’ poor health which can’t possibly stand the large amount of exercise in the military training.

Personally, I accept the military training, which helps to build up high school students’ bodies. Plus, as citizens of China, we have the responsibility to get to know about our own military systems.
