I still remember my middle school life in Zhengzhou. I was then in school for student from Tibet. As we were all left home of an early age, we met lots of problems in our daily life. We had to do the washing, cleaning and shopping by us. However, we seldom felt lonely or helplessly. We enjoyed our happy life. At weekends, we will play basketball on the playground, swimming in the pool or go for a picnic in the park. We were living in a big family. We treat each other as brothers and sisters. I’m glad to know what you have been studying Chinese in an university in Beijing for about one month. Just as you have found, Chinese differ from English greatly. The pronunciation and the spelling of the Chinese words are very complicated, and so is the sentence structures. That is because many people, especially the foreigners, have great difficulty in learning Chinese.
However, practice makes perfect. If you can read and write Chinese as many as you can, you have a good command of it. In addition, you should look for more opportunities to communicate with the native people to get familiar to different accents as well as our cultures, which will help you a lot.

I'm very glad to hear from you. I know you have difficulty remember English words. Now I’ll give you some advices. Firstly, you should read aloud as often as possibly, for it can develop your sense of language. Secondly, you must read more. Reading can enlarge your vocabulary and you can easily find plenty reading materials that interests you. Thirdly, whenever you will meet a new word, it isn't enough to write them down. The more you repeat it, the well you'll remember it. Finally, you must put your vocabulary into practice, like writing English letters to me. Only with this way can you use the language freely.
