I am very anxious about the waste in our school. You see, the lights are burning day and night in the classrooms. The taps are left running all the time. Food is thrown away everywhere in the dining room and there are a lot of useful things in the litterbins, taking a few for example. It’s true that we are getting richer and richer now. But saving is still a virtue of our Chinese people. So I am writing to you to put forward my suggestion. Would you please call on all the students in our school to promote saving and oppose waste? I would be very glad if you could take the advice.
