My dream is to become a school teacher in the future. In fact, I had the dream of becoming a teacher since my childhood. In my opinion, without teachers, no society could make progresses. There is no doubt whether teachers play an important role in children growth. Not only do teachers pass on knowledge for children, but they also teach children how to behave themselves. Comparing with other jobs, teaching is hard and the pay is lower. And to me, what great fun it is to be with children! They make me to feel young forever because I'll study harder and try my best to realize my dream.

【答案】①had前加have ; ②progresses→progress; ③whether→that ; ④children→children's ; ⑤for→to ; ⑥Comparing→Compared;⑦h(yuǎn)ard→harder; ⑧And→But ; ⑨去掉feel 前的to ; ⑩because→so

根據(jù)時(shí)間狀語“since my childhood”,句子要用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)。故填加have。

故whether改為that。

pass on sth. to sb. 故把for改成to。

與前句“omparing with other jobs, teaching is hard and the pay is lower. And to me, what great fun it is to be with children”與其它工作相比,當(dāng)老師很辛苦又沒錢,但對于我,我喜歡跟孩子們在一起。是轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系,故And要變成But。

make sb do sth 固定短語,”讓某人做.....“,不用to。

One of the most recent social changes taking place in the world is social networking. Social networking has been in existence for at least 150 years, and probably longer than that. In the times before the invention of the computer and the World Wide Web (WWW), social networking was done in person. People who had similar likes and interests would gather together to share experiences, make new friends, and improve their businesses.
On the Internet, social networking websites made their first appearances during the late 1990s. The first major social networking website in the United States was MySpace. MySpace allowed its users to exchange messages, share pictures, and make new friends in a way that was never thought of in the past. With MySpace, people who did not go out much could reach out to others from their own homes.
In 2004, Facebook was created. It was first a website created for use by Harvard University's students and teachers, but it soon expanded to include just about everyone. It is now larger than some of the largest companies in the world. It is a website that is changing all the time. Facebook has completely changed the way people stay connected with each other and the rest of the world. The way it works is simple. Users can set up a new account (賬戶) easily.
Some people will do just about anything to save money. And I am one of them. Take my family's last vacation. It was my six-year-old son's winter break form school, and we were heading home from Fort Lauderdale after a week-long trip. The flight was overbooked, and Delta, the airline, offered us $400 per person in credits to give up our seats and leave the next day. I had meetings in New York, so I had to get back. But that didn't mean my husband and my son couldn't stay. I took my nine-month-old and took off for home.
The next day, my husband and son were offered more credits to take an even later flight. Yes, I encouraged—okay, ordered—them to wait it out at the airport, to "earn" more Delta Dollars. Our total take: $1,600. Not bad, huh?
Now some people may think I'm a bad mother and not such a great wife either. But as a big-time bargain hunter, I know the value of a dollar. And these days, a good deal is something few of us can afford to pass up.
I've made a living looking for the best deals and exposing (揭露) the worst tricks. I have been the consumer reporter of NBC's Today show for over a decade. I have written a couple of books including one titled Tricks of the Trade: A Consumer Survival Guide. And I really do what I believe in.
I tell you this because there is no shame in getting your money's worth. I'm also tightfisted when it comes to shoes, clothes for my children, and expensive restaurants. But I wouldn't hesitate to spend on a good haircut. It keeps its shape longer, and it's the first thing people notice. And I will also spend on a classic piece of furniture. Quality lasts.
(1)Why did Delta give the author's family credits?
A.They had early bookings.
B.They took a later flight.
C.Their flight had been delayed.
D.Their flight had been cancelled.
(2)What can we learn about the author?
A.She is interested in cheap products.
B.She seldom makes a compromise(折衷).
C.She is very strict with her children.
D.She rarely misses a good deal.
(3)What does the author do?
A.She's a teacher.
B.She's a housewife.
C.She's a businesswoman.
D.She's a media person.
(4)What does the author want to tell us?
A.How to spend money wisely.
B.How to reserve airline seats.
C.How to expose bad tricks.
D.How to make a business deal.
