Once in Paris when someone offered me some more coffee, I said “Thank you” in French, I meant that I would like some more, however to my surprise the coffee pot was taken away! Later I found out that “Thank you” in French means “No, Thank you”.

Last weekend, I went to the nursing house with some volunteer to visit the elderly. On arriving at there, we found some old people seating in the yard, expecting us. We went forward to greet them. To provide a better environment for we to read and study, our school has rebuilt the library. I can’t wait share with you the great changes what have taken place there.

Large than before, the new library can be hold 500 people studying and reading there. What’s much, the library has bought more new books, which are high thought of by both teachers and students.
