Recently, we have had a survey on “how you will spend the summer vacation after high school” ．About 300 students took part in the survey．The result is as follows:

About 10 percent of the students are going to make use of the long vacation to learn how to drive a car, as they have reached eighteen―the required age for driving．About 18 percent of the students choose to take a course to study for IELTS．They are trying to prepare themselves for a further study abroad．Nearly half of the students are going to travel to famous scenic spots at home and abroad．

About one quarter of the students prefer to stay at home, spending their summer vacation in a leisure way, watching TV, reading books or having parties with friends．

I think the reason why so many students choose to spend their vacation traveling is that they want to see more of China and the world and I am one of them I think．If we want to broaden our horizon and keep pace with the changing world, travels are the best way．
