Whenever I recall my childhood, there is one thing I remember clearly. My father used his   36 to let my mother   37  her parents who lived far away. Birthdays often bring surprises. But this year’s surprise on the birthday of the great British playwright William Shakespeare is __21__ one of the most surprising.
On April 22, one day before his 441^st birthday anniversary, experts __22__ that one of the most recognizable __23__ of William Shakespeare is a fake (贗品).
This __24__ that we no longer have a good __25__ of what Shakespeare looked like. “It’s very possible that many pictures of Shakespeare are unreliable because many of them are __26__ of this one,” said an expert from Britain’s National Portrait Gallery.
The _27_ comes after four months of testing. Experts from the gallery say the image — commonly known as the “Flower portrait” — was actually __28__ in the 1800s, two centuries __29_  Shakespeare’s death.
The art experts who work at the gallery say they used modern chemistry technology to __30__ the paint on the picture. These checks found traces (痕跡) of paint deep in the picture __31__ about 1814.

Eighty-year-old retired tailor, James McKay, spent Saturday night in jail after __36__ thirty-year-old Keith Smith over the head __37__ his walking stick．McKay’s wife, Laurence told us that while McKay is usually a __38__ person, he had been __39__ to this act of violence by getting wet just once too often．

Tick, tock, tick, tock. I’m sitting here, watching the movements of my existence pass slowly away. My house has been  36 for such a long time，and I’m lonely and forgotten. Sitting here, by myself, all that I can do is   37   and think about my past. I could tell you stories that only  38  would know. But walls can’t speak.

I hope that someday somebody will  55  me, and drop in on me again. Maybe then I’ll get a new home and an opportunity for a whole new set of memories.

Several times on my way to work, I passed a gentleman who I supposed homeless. He had a lot of his possessions 36 down to his bike and held a cardboard sign that said he was a 37 who doesn’t drink or do drugs, but would 38 anything that could be given. So this wonderful gentleman being so open to receiving has been a 52 .
It also makes me think how 53 I am to receiving in my life --- am I humble and grateful when I am 54 with something? Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but 55 as gracious, humble and sincere as this wonderful man has been in receiving.
