When we think about happiness, we usually think of something extraordinary, a pinnacle (頂點(diǎn)) of sheer (純粹的) delight. And those pinnacles seem to get rarer the older we get.
 1   I remember playing police and robbers in the woods, getting a speaking part in the school play. Of course, kids also experience lows, but their delight at such peaks of pleasure as winning a race or getting a new bike is unreserved.
For teenagers, or people under 20 the concept of happiness changes.   2   I can still feel the pain of not being invited to a party that almost everyone else was going to. I also remember the great happiness of being invited at another event to dance with a very handsome young man.
In adulthood the things that bring great joy—birth, love, marriage—also bring responsibility and the risk of loss.   3   For adults, happiness is complex.
 4   But I think a better definition of happiness is “ the ability to enjoy something”. The more we can enjoy what we have, the happier we are. It's easy to overlook the pleasure we get from loving and being loved, the company of friends, the freedom to live where we please, even good health.
While happiness may be more complex for us, the solution is the same as ever. Happiness isn't about what happens to us; it’s the ability to find a positive for every negative, and view a difficulty as a challenge.   5  

In December 2012.my parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told them I would get back t0 them once I thought of    . At chat point .I had tie full    of asking for something . but for the first time .I      how lucky I was to have been born in such a fortunate family. There was nothing I could ask for         there was nothing more I needed .I was truly satisfied.

This made me    ahout all the children  who die not have families homes ,or food ,much less gifts ,for Christmas     these thoughts in my mind ,I told my parents in January that      getting me an expensive gift for the holidays ,I'd love to use the money to get a  bunch of small gifts for all the      that hadn't gotten anything for Christmas.

At first ,they were        Then they realized I was serious ,and      to spend $500 on gifts for young kids of the families living at the homeless shelter .It was such an incredible experience. I      going to the homeless shelter to hand out the toys to as we could give,    them all to share .One of the children looked at me with his innocent eyes I could see the     in them .It was     that he had never gotten a Christmas gift before ,so when he asked me where I got the gifts from ,I told him what I knew he wanted he wanted me to say ;that I was helping       .

I        that Santa was sorry he was so late .but that this gift had been made    for him! The boy took the gift slowly ,smiled the cutest smile I  had       seen and ran to his

The last  thing I heard as I moved on to give a gift  to the next hopeful child was the boy's         : " Mommy .Santa really does          ! And he didn't forget about us this  year!

My Teacher in the School of Life

I spent the opening day of school this year at DeMatha Catholic High School in much the same way I spent the first day of classes ___1___ 30 years ago; I sat in Dr Charles E. Offutt's British literature class, listening to him __2___ what his seniors would learn and get them excited about the journey they would __3__.I'm the principal(校長) of the school now, but for a few minutes I was back in 1975, __4__ what the future held.

Street Food
In the winter weather, it’s no fun being homeless. It’s even worse if you’re hungry. We give hot food to at least fifty people every night. It’s hard work, but necessary. Can you come and help? If not, can you offer a little money? We use a very old kitchen, and we need some new saucepans(平底鍋). Money for new ones would be most welcome indeed.

Another accessible Blue Flag Beach lies on Malahide in Fingal．You can enjoy the distinctive attraction of the water while still getting yourself amazed with the wonderful sights around Malahide．Beach is sandy and holds a harbor designed for pleasure boats at the Northern end．

For a bit of challenge and thrill, consider a swim at Seapoint Beach in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown．You can have the pleasure of an exciting surf adventure here apart from the usual swimming activity．This is often visited by tourists due to its various appeals: swimming on the north part of the beach while surfing, boating and jet skiing at the south．
