A phone call for Sam

 Mrs White has two sons. One is Jimmy;he is four years old The other (另一個(gè)) is Sam; he is only ten months old. One day,Mrs White goes out.

The telephone rings. “Hello!” Jimmy answers the telephone.

“Hello!Is your mother at home?” says a man.

“No ,” answers Jimmy.

“Well,please write down my name,and then tell your mother. ”

“All right."

“Mr Baker,B - -A一K一E一R ”

“How to write B?”

<4How to write B? Listen,little boy,is there anybody with you? Any brothers or sisters?”

“My brother Sam is here. ”

“I want to talk to him,please. ”

“〇K. ” Jimmy gives the telephone to his little brother.

When their mother comes back,she asks, “Is there any telephone call?”

“Yes ,” says Jimmy. “A man. But he only (僅僅) wants to talk to Sam. ”
