有一天，一只螞蟻在樹下挖土。挖到中午，口渴了，就到水塘邊去喝水，誰知一不小心掉到水塘里了。螞蟻著急地喊道：“救命啊!救命啊!”

喜鵲飛過來感謝螞蟻。螞蟻對喜鵲說：“你不用感謝我，上次我掉到水塘里，要是沒有你的幫助，我不早就被淹(yān)死了嗎?”
