【題目】閱讀下文并回答問題。
Have you ever wished you could change something about your body? If so, you’re not alone.
Many people use apps like MeituXiuxiu to beautify photos before putting them on social media. Some teenagers are even having plastic surgery (整容術(shù)) at an early age. Zeng, a senior 2 student from Chengdu, had a double eyelid surgery (雙眼皮手術(shù)) done this summer. She and many of her classmates believe bigger eyes look more beautiful.
As teenagers’ bodies grow and change, they become afraid of the smallest flaw(缺陷) in their looks. They are very worried about it. This can even influence their health.
According to Huxiu News, over 60 percent of girls refuse to take part in some daily activities such as going to school, because they feel bad about their looks. As much as 31 percent of teenagers do not want to speak up in class because they worry that others will notice their looks.
One of the main causes is advertising, TV shows and social media. Pictures of “perfect” faces and bodies are everywhere. They suggest that having large eyes, pale skin and skinny bodies is the only way to be beautiful. Magazines give tips about how to lose weight “in days”. Advertisements suggest that you should whiten your skin using certain products. And TV shows often make fun of overweight characters. Seeing all these things can make people believe that they should change their bodies.
So what should we do? According to Nancy Etcoff of the Harvard Medical School, “We need to help young people in many ways. These ways can include educating students about body confidence in school, as well as encouraging parents to talk to their kids about this topic. After all, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes,” Etcoff said.

Perhaps you have seen some strange English before, like “big meter” for dami and “small buy” for xiaomaibu in Chinese. These are examples of incorrect translations (翻譯) in China that can be seen everywhere from restaurant menus to information signs.
While many people find this Chinglish to be funny, it is also said to “damage the country’s image” and confuse (使困惑) English speakers. On Dec. 1, China carried out its first national standards (規(guī)范) for the use of English in public service areas, People’s Daily reported.
The standards include more than 3,500 Chinese-to-English translations in 13 areas, including transportation, sports and education. This means that many Chinese words will now have standard English names.
For example, the English words for the Chinese dishes huntun and lamian are “wonton” and “l(fā)amian noodles”. For kaochuan and mixian, the English names are “barbecue” and “rice noodles”.
As for places, shaoniangong is called “children’s palace”. The entertainment activity nongjiale that we enjoy in rural areas is called “agritainment”. There are also many English warning (警示) phrases, like “wet floor” for xiaoxindihua and “mind your head” for dangxinpengtou.
The standards are part of efforts China has made in past years to fix incorrect English. Many cities have already fixed a lot of signs that show the wrong English translations. In 2015, Shanghai opened a 12345 hotline to encourage people to report incorrect translations.

Chinese writing is one of the world's greatest writing systems(系統(tǒng)). It is more widely in use than alphabetic(字母的)writing systems. 60 世界上多于一半的書是用中文寫的, including historical writings and novels, along with writings on government and law.
