Nola is a 4l-year-old northern white rhino(犀牛) . She lives in the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in California. She is one of only four remaining northern white rhinos in the world. The other three live in Kenya,Africa.

   Scientists are trying to find ways to prevent rhinos from becoming extinct. In 1975,the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research started a program called the Frozen Zoo. Sciq^tists hope ftat by studying the rhino cells,they will know more about the rhino,and will find ways to increase its numbers.
