Have you ever gone to a music festival? During a summer holiday in Hungary, I went to attend my the first music festival. It was really an excitement to us! Since 2002 the Sziget Festival had been running every year in Budapest. It lasts for a week, which famous singers and bands from around the world perform very brilliant. In Hungarian the word ‘sziget’ mean island, which is a very appropriate name although the festival takes place on a large island in the middle of the Danube River in Budapest. Thousands people come on special “party trains” from other country such as France and Italy.

During the summer of 2001, I started reading books by English, mostly stories. I would learn a lot of new words from these books, but I had terribly problemsmemorizing them. I had to look up to the same wordmany times, for which was quite troublesome. I realizedI do need a way to remember all these new words. It wasa great success for myself. I started writing down words from books that I read. I would come back fromschool and then sit for an hour and two. I wrote down new words and added it to my collection. By the end of last year, my collection has grown to 3000 words.

The designer, Anthony Herrera, just recently released his 2013 collection. "The Star Wars snowflake designs began as just doing designs of characters that I and my daughter wanted to make three years ago," Herrera told us in an email. "The second year I introduced vehicles, and this year I decided to push further by designing battle scenes."

Sometimes, he feels a bit bored with his job. With each year, the designs have got more detailed and various, but the process of creating them remained the same: sketching (畫) figures on paper with a pencil until a symmetrical (對稱）pattern comes out, then scanning the designs and cut them with scissors. However, he says he has plenty of ideas for new flakes next year, so no two will ever be the same. Hopefully with Star Wars: Episode VII coming in 2015 he'll have even more work in the future.

Check out your favorite finished versions of Herrera’s flakes (from both 2013 and previous years) and download the pictures beneath them and then get down to creating your own work. A warning: Most designs aren't for the casual flake-maker, so patience you must have.

What a wonderful day for skating !My friends and I went skating on yesterday.When we arrived we found a lot of people were already here.My friend was very poor at skating but was afraid of skating alone .He held onto my arm and walks slowly and carefully, whenever someone passed by his body rocked violent as if he was about fall . Volunteering is good for your health whether you are young or old, but it’s especially good in older adults.

Volunteering offers you the chance to try out a new career without making a long-term commitment. It is also a great way to gain experience in a new field. Volunteering work can expose you to professional organizations or internship（實(shí)習(xí)）that could be of benefit to your career. That volunteer work is unpaid doesn’t mean the skills you learn are basic. Many volunteering opportunities provide training. In addition, volunteering can also help you build upon skills you already have and use them to benefit the greater community.

Volunteering is a fun and easy way to explore your interests and passions. Volunteer opportunities that match both your goals and your interest are most likely to be fun and satisfying for you. Doing volunteer work you find meaningful and interesting can be a relaxing escape from your day-to-day routines of work, school, and family commitments.
