The aims of the Illustrators'(插圖畫家的) Exhibition, staged as part of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, organized by BolognaFiere and held from 19 to 22 March 2018,are to bring illustrators and publishers together and to promote illustrators and their works among publishers的信息中可分別排除答案ABC,可知插圖畫家的展覽是為了加強插圖畫家和出版商的關系,確定正確答案為D.
72.C.細節(jié)理解題:從QUALIFICATIONS(資格)內容中state in the application form whether you are entering work for the Fiction or Nonfiction Category可知插畫展覽的插畫應該被清楚的分配作品類別.故選C.
73.A.推理判斷題:由SHIPMENT的內容Entries may be delivered by post, express delivery service or by hand…Form"A"for registered mail or post by air; Form"B"if using an international forwarding agent or airline可以得知只有A答案Normal post未提及;故選A.
74.D.細節(jié)理解題:由BolognaFiere may not be held responsible for the non-arrival or late arrival of artwork 可以排除B,而由最后一段All the works will be returned to their owners by BolognaFiere可以得知BolognaFiere負責的是歸還插圖畫家的作品,正確答案為D.
75.A.細節(jié)理解題:從QUALIFICATIONS(資格)內容中…then presented together with illustrations no later than 26 September 2017可知推斷插圖畫家的作品最遲不能超過2017年9月26日,故選A答案.

3.Many kids help out around the house with chores(家庭雜務)such as emptying the dishwasher,putting laundry away,and taking out the trash.In exchange,some kids get allowances(補貼)or other rewards such as extra computer time.
But some people do not think that kids should get rewards for doing chores.Susie Walton,a parenting educator and family coach,believes that by rewarding kids,parents are sending a message that work isn't worth doing unless you get something in return."Running any kind of household is a team effort."Susie said."A home is a living space for everyone in the family.It's important for kids to see that we all have responsibilities in the house,and that families decide together how they want their home to look,and how they are going to keep it looking like everyone wants it to look."
Other people believe that getting a cash allowance or other rewards motivates kids to do chores,and it also teaches them real world lessons about how we need to work to earn money.There are also new applications that give kids points and digital gifts that can be redeemed (兌取) either online or in the real world.With the ChoreMonster app,kids earn digital points by completing chores that they can turn in for real-life rewards such as extra Xbox time or a trip to the mall."Our goal is to encourage kids to earn rewards,"says Chris Bergman,founder of ChoreMonster."Kids need positive reinforcement (強化) to help motivate them."
What do you think?Should kids be rewarded for doing chores?Or should kids help out around their homes without getting anything in return?
Write a 200-word response.Send it to tfkasks4you@timeforkids.com.Your response may be published in a future issue of Time For Kids.Please include your grade and contact information of your parent or teacher if you want your response to be published.The deadline for responding is February 18.

"We did not stay at bed and breakfast houses,"they said,"because we found that most families were away on holiday."It was obviously impossible. Finally I understood what (65)had happened(happen). My friends spoke little English, and they thought"VACANCIES"meant"holidays",(66)becausethe Spainish word for"holidays"is"vacancies".So they did not go to the houses with the signs outside saying"VACANCIES",which in English means there are free rooms. Then my friends went (67)directly( direct ) to the houses with the signs saying"NO VACANCIES",because they thought this meant the (68)owners( own ) of the houses were not away on holiday. But in fact, all of these houses (69)were filled(fill ) with travelers. As (70)aresult,they stayed at hotels!

10.Maybe it is true that we do not know what we have got until we lose it,but it is also true that we do not know what we have been missing until it arrives.
It takes an hour to like someone,and a day to love someone,but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back.Do not expect love in return; but if it does not,be content it has grown in yours.Do not rely on one's appearance; it can trick you.Do not rely on wealth; even that fades away.Rely on someone who makes you smile,because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them.Dream what you want to dream;go where you want to go;be what you want to be,because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past.You cannot go on well in life until you let your past failures and heartaches go off.May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,enough trails to make you strong,enough sorrow to keep you human,enough hope to make you happy.The happiest of people do not necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.Happiness waits for those who cry,those appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.Always put yourself in others'shoes.If you feel that it hurts you,it probably hurts the other person,too.
When you were born,you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.Live your life so that when you die,you are the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
