I’m Lihua,a senior 3 student who will graduate from Guangdong province this june. I am writing this letter in purpose of applying for admission into the English Department in your esteemed university and I’m confident I will meet your both academic and language requirements.

During the past three years in senior school,I have not only grasped the principal skills of all subjects but more importantly developed a strong interest in language and English culture. My ability to write and speak English is out of question so that there will be little problem in attending the courses given by foreign teachers. Besides, your university in “cross-cultural education ”, especially the global community of international students as well as the academic staff from different countries, are of particular interest to me.
