This morning my friend Mary and me went shopping. She thought it is a good chance to practice Chinese. Mary was happy to talk to the salesgirls, and so did they. She wanted to buy some chicken, so she asked for a salesgirl, “ How much is the cock?” Gentle, the salesgirl answered, “ I’m not sure whether it’s a cock or a hen.” Mary became embarrassing and realized she had made a mistake. All of us laughed include Mary. Then we went to buy some eggs. I asked Mary, “ Do you want buy hens’ sons and daughters?” Mary shouted, “ I can say eggs.” We laughed again. Last year, my family moved to a new city and I went to study in a place where I had no idea about anything. As time was passed, however, I made some friends who were the coolest in whole world. Life is complicated. We can’t avoid anything annoy or stressful. However, what is of great importance is that we should keep a good state of mind.

An experience never fades from my memory. With a vital exam drawing near, I felt such nervous that I even couldn’t eat or sleep, thus make me very sleepy in class. Seeing this, my teacher comes to my help. With her aid, I adjusted myself and felt confidence again. In the meantime, a detailed plan was made go over my lessons. In the end, I managed to pass the exam.

It was a good state of mind which helped me get through the exam. A good state of mind is what it takes to realize our goal. Whenever your emotion is out of the control, just keep in mind that only with possessing a good state of mind can you attain success.

Nowadays, as the development of high technology, smart phone is very popular to high school student. Smart phone once is forbidden. But now it has become a very common tool for students. A lot of students keep his eyes on smart phones all the time. Teachers are annoying about this situation, so they feel most students ignore them when they are giving lessons. Some teachers think it is time to let the students hand to hand in their smart phones.

I don’t think it is good idea. Even for the teachers, they used their phones so much, let alone the students. The teachers should improve their teaching methods to catch the students’ interest.
