This afternoon I went to see my grandfather by a bus. It was very crowded and I had to stand. Besides me there was a woman held a little boyin her arms. In front of her, a young man occupies two seats, pretending to be sleeping. I heard the little boy curious asking his mother, “What’s wrong with the uncle?” I had thought if perhaps the woman would blame the man. Beyond her expectations, the woman answered with a smile, “Be quiet. This uncle must very tired because of hard work.” The young man must haveheard the word. His face turned red and offered one seat for the woman at once.

holding a little boy是現(xiàn)在分詞短語作后置定語。
In front of her, a young man occupies two seats,中 occupies作謂語,應該和整篇文章的時態(tài)保持一致。
I had thought if perhaps the woman would blame the man.
【小題8】must be very tired,表示肯定推測,一定很累。

Dear Mr. Smith,
I’m very much glad to hear that your shopping centre will build non-smoking supermarket. In my opinion, it’s a good idea to do so, for it can not only help the smokers to smoke less, and it can also do good to other customers’ health. Since you had given up selling cigarettes, the customers don’t like smoking are sure to support you. In addition, smoke in the shopping centre may cause fire, which is dangerous to both your possessions and the safe of the customers. In a word, the non-smoking supermarket will not effect your business. To the contrary, it will help you attract more customers who want to keep health.
Best wishes!

It is reported, some needy students receive financial support from some kind people but never express our thanks. Personally, I think they are wrong. Though the helpers didn't expect any reward in return, it is necessary and good manner to say “thank you”. Besides, it is a basic social skill express ourselves in modern society. Maybe some of them do feel thankfully. It is only because they are afraid of looked down upon which they remain silent. But I just want to say that being poor for a moment doesn't means you will be poor forever.
