第一節(jié)：短文改錯（共10小題，每小題1分，滿分10分）
此題要求改正所給短文中的錯誤。文中共有10處錯誤，每句中最多有兩處。錯誤涉及一個單詞的增加，刪除或修改。
增加： 在缺詞處加一個漏子符號（∧），并在其下面寫出該加大詞。
刪除： 把多余的詞用斜線（\）劃掉。
修改： 在錯的詞下劃一橫線，并在該詞下面寫處修改后的詞。
注意： 1. 每處錯誤及其修改均僅限一詞
2. 只允許修改10處，多者（從第11 處起）不計分。
In recent years many flowers shops have been appeared in our small town. It is common for people to buy flowers when they go to a gathering, visiting a sick friend, or attend a wedding or birthday party. I still remember clear one day last year when Tom, a disabled student, presented some flowers to his mother to express his gratitude for her. He owing his entire life to his mother’s kind and care. With her he would not have had the confidence or the courage to fight his disability. As a result the great effort he has made, he was finally admitted to a key university.

【小題9】result后面加of 固定搭配as a result of…由于…。由于他做出的努力。
【小題10】has改為had  他做出努力是在他被大學錄取之前，他被大學錄取使用了was admitted的過去時，那么之前的事情要使用過去完成時。

【小題5】The ability to talk smoothly has a lot to do with choosing the precise words to convey your feelings or thoughts. Constantly develop your vocabulary and practice communicating as accurately as possible. It will help you develop a way with words and allow you to express yourself more easily.
