I used to love science class-all of them-biology,chemistry,geography,and physics.I think I liked those classes because I felt that it helped me understand what the world works.For example,when I was a child,the rain was a mystery.In one class,I learned∧it rained.I think science classes clear up mysteries.But then there was always more mysteries∧look into.What was my least favorite class?That was maths.After learn the basics of the subject,nothing else seemed very practically to me.I never saw how I can use it in my daily life.
解析:
1.class→classes. 根據(jù)all of them可以確定class要用復(fù)數(shù)形式.
2.it→they.
3.what→how.
5.在learned和it rained之間加why.
6.was→are.
7.在mysteries和look into中間加to.
8.learn→learning..
9.practically→practical.
10.can→could. 根據(jù)主句I never saw是一般過去時態(tài)可知從句 how I can use it in my daily life也用一般過去時態(tài),所以用could.

We need someone to help with the work.(someone will help with the work)
I have many letters to write.(to write many letters)
We have made a plan to learn from Lei Feng.
That's the way to do it.
I am looking for a room to live in.
He had no money and no place to live.
There is nothing to do.

19.Mosquitoes have an extraordinary ability to target humans far away and fly straight to their unprotected skin.Regrettably, mosquitoes can do more than cause an itchy(發(fā)癢的)wound. Some mosquitoes spread several serious diseases, including Dengue, yellow fever and malaria.
Over one million people worldwide die from these diseases each year.New research now   shows how mosquitoes choose who to bite.
Mosquitoes need blood to survive. They are attracted to human skin and breath. They smell the carbon dioxide gas, which all mammals breathe out. This gas is the main way for mosquitoes to know that a warm-blooded creature is nearby.
But mosquitoes also use their eyes and sense of touch.Michael Dickinson is a professor at the California Institute of Technology. His research shows how these small insects, with even smaller brains, use three senses to find a blood meal.
Michael Dickinson's team used plumes-a material that rises into the air of carbon dioxide gas into a wind tunnel. They then used cameras to record the mosquitoes. The insects followed the plume.
Then, the scientists placed dark objects on the lighter colored floor and walls of the tunnel.Mr.Dickinson said,at first, the mosquitoes showed no interest in the objects at all."What was quite striking and quite surprising is that the mosquitoes fly back and forth for hours. These are hungry females and they completely ignore the objects on the floor and wall of the tunnel. But the moment they get a hit of CO2,they change their behavior quite obviously and now would become attracted to these little visual blobs (斑點)."
This suggested to the researchers that a mosquito's sense of smell is more important in the search for food.Once mosquitoes catch a smell of a human or animal, they also follow visual signals.

6.Well,parents,surprise!Lots of us are using Twitter and Facebook to thumb rides, and not just to school. It's awkward to be refused when you call a friend and ask for a ride. But with Twitter, you just look for other people heading the same way.
It may sound risky,so many teens stay within their own social circles to find rides, and don't branch out beyond friends when asking on Twitter just like me,but to some young people, especially those taking longer trips, stranger danger is less of a concern.
"I think the digital connection of young people is really key, because younger generations grew up sharing things on line, sharing files, photos, music, etc,so they've been very used to sharing,"said Juliet Schor,a sociology professor at Boston College.
The sharing economy got big during the recession (經(jīng)濟衰退),allowing people to access more goods, services using technology and even to share costs. And that technology, for me,is what the car was for my mom,a gateway to more freedom, like what my friend Earl says,"The symbol of freedom isn't the car any more because there's technology out there connecting you to a car."
According to the researchers at the University of Michigan,30 years ago, eight in ten American 18-year-olds had a driver's license compared to six in ten today. So it's not that surprising that on my 16th birthday I wasn't rushing to get a license but an iPhone.
"Driving, for young people, does mean they have to disconnect from their technology, and that's a negative. So if they could sit in the passage side and still be connected, that's going to be a plus."Schor continued.
To me,another plus is that ride sharing represents something, something much bigger than trying to save money.I see it as evidence that people still depend on each other. My generation shares their cars and apartments the way neighbors used to share cups of sugar. For the system to work, some of us still need our own cars. But until I get my own version of the silver Super Beetle, you can find me on Twitter.

23.Professor Juliet would agree thatD.
A.young people will sit waiting to be contacted by reading a passage
B.sharing economy is bound to be responsible for the recession
C.young people tend to share a car with strangers by means of Twitter
D.being connected via technology is important for young people
