    1.Communicate

    3.Support group member's ideas
    If a teammate suggests something,always consider it!(38)GAnd this makes you a good team member.After all,nobody likes a know-it-all.
    4.Listen Actively
Look at the person who's speaking to you, nod, ask questions and acknowledge what's said by paraphrasing points that have been made.If you're unclear about something that's been said, ask for more information to clear up any confusion before moving on.Effective communication is a vital part of any team.(39)C    5.Get Involved
Share suggestions, ideas, solutions and proposals with your team members.Take the time to help your fellow teammates. You can guarantee there will be a time in the future when you'll need some help or advice.(40)F

A.Don't Blame Others
B.Avoid showing off
C.Thus, the value of good listening skills shouldn't be underestimated.
D.Have faith that people will recognize when good work is being done.
E.If you have a problem with someone in your group, talk to him about it.
F.And if you've helped them in the past, they'll be more than happy to lend a helping hand.
G.Considering the group's ideas shows you're interested in other people's ideas, not just your own.

2.Traveling without a map in different countries,I find out about different"styles"of directions every time I ask"How can I get to the post office?"
Foreign tourists are often confused  in Japan because most streets there don't have name signs; in Japan,people use landmarks in their directions instead of street names.For example,the Japanese will say to travelers,"Go straight down to the corner.Turn left at the big hotel and go past a fruit market.The post office is across from the bus stop."
People in Los Angeles,the US,have no idea of distance on the map:they measure distance by time,not miles."How far away is the post office?"you ask."Oh,"they answer,"it's about five minutes from here."You don't understand completely,"Yes,but how many miles away is it,please?"To this question you won't get an answer,because most probably they don't know it themselves.
People in Greece sometimes do not even try to give directions because tourists seldom understand the Greek language.Instead,a Greek will often say,"Follow me."Then he'll lead you through the streets of the city to the post office.
Sometimes a person doesn't know the answer to your question.What happens in the situation?A New Yorker might say,"Sorry,I have no idea."But in Yucatan,Mexico,no one answers"I don't know."People there believe that"I don't"is impolite.They usually give an answer,but often a wrong one.So a tourist can get lost very easily in Yucatan!
However,one thing will help you everywhere in the world.It's body language.
31.Which one of the following is probably an example of Japanese directions?B

33.Greeks give directions byC.

D.A person's body language can help you understand directions.

7."NOW I just don't believe that."Surely all of us,at some point,have watched a movie and thought:It's simply badly researched,or,the makers must think we're idiots (白癡).
Recently,the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph ran a humorous piece on unconvincing(不讓人信服的) tech moments from some top movies.Let's see what all the fuss (激動(dòng)) is about.Tom Chiver,the writer of The Daily Telegraph uses his first example from the movie Independence Day,in which a character comes up with a virus(病毒)which destroys Windows the computer system the alien (外星人)spacecraft uses."It's a good thing that they didn't have Norton Anti-virus,"jokes  Chivers.
It's just one case of a movie that takes a lot of license with its science.Another one Chivers mentions is from the movie Star Wars,where the glowing light beams (光束) traveling through space look very impressive.But the problem is that in space there are no air particles (粒子)for the light to reflect off.In reality,they'd be invisible(看不見(jiàn)的),which wouldn't look so cool on the big screen.
Most people think that the mind-bending Matrix films are made for great viewing.But for Chivers,the science in the movies is a little bit silly.He comments"…the film is based on the idea that humans are kept alive as electricity generators (發(fā)電機(jī)).This is not just unlikely-it's basically impossible.They would need more energy to stay alive than they would produce.It's just like saying that you'll power the car with batteries,and keep the batteries charged by running a generator from the wheels."
And finally,as Chivers points out,DNA is not replaceable.But this bit of elementary genetics passed the makers of the 2002Bond film Die Another Day by.In the film the bad guy has"gene treatment"to change his appearance and his DNA,which is completely impossible in our real world.

62.Which of the following does the writer agree with about the movie Independence Day?A
A.It's a science fiction movie.
B.It's about the alien spacecraft.
C.It's produced by Tom Chiver.
D.It's a jokey and humorous one.
63.What is mainly talked about in the 4th paragraph?B
A.How we can power the car with batteries.
B.How Tom Chiver thinks of the Matrix films.
C.How humans are kept alive as power generator.
D.How the Matrix films are made for great viewing.
64.Which of the following is true according to the passage?D
A.The movie Star Wars is about the light beams in space.
B.The author doesn't take the science in movies seriously.
C.Nowadays nobody believes in science movies any more.
D.There is a horrible virus in the movie Independence Day.
65.The underlined word"They"in the 4th paragraph refers toA.
A.human beings
B.car wheels
C.Matrix films
D.electricity generators.
