11.A Sichuan government official expressed their thanks through CCTV for the aid they ______ in the last three years.( 。
A.would receiveB.are receivingC.have receivedD.had received

2.There is no second chance…there is no chance of making mistakes."
That's why Dr.Omer Mei-Dan and others who enjoyed base-jumping and wingsuit(翼裝) flying were sad but not surprised by the recent deaths of three extreme sports enthusiasts.
Mark Sutton, the English parachutist(跳傘者),died on August 14 in Switzerland when he flew into a rocky ridge(山脊) in a wingsuit. Not even a week afterward,Mario Richard,a Canadian base-jumper,died in Italy during a wingsuit flight, when he"apparently failed to clear a rock by three meters."And most recently,Hungarian wingsuit flyer Victor Kovats died in Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie on Oct.9 during a practice flight ahead of the World Championships.
According to Mei-Dan,six to seven percent of the 3,000 or so base-jumpers who use wingsuits or parachutes die each year-a huge number when you consider the most dangerous job in America, logging which has an annual death rate well under one percent of the workers.
Base-jumpers and wingsuit flyers are experienced. They have hundreds of practice before trying to fly from buildings, cliffs and towers. The same goes for those who drop from helicopters above mountains and valleys and then use their wingsuits to try to whiz by(飛速掠過) as close as possible to the rocks and ridges below.
Among the dangers, said Mei-Dan,is the temptation to"push the envelope":To try to get close to a rock wall, for example, than anyone else."When you push the envelope and you can not have any error at all,or you have to pay for it with your life."
So why do it?The experience of flying toward the ground in a wingsuit is almost indescribable."It's something that you really have to try to understand-what type of feeling you get when you're free falling next to a cliff,"Mei-Dan said.

6.閱讀下面短文,然后按要求寫一篇150詞左右的英語短文.
Once upon a time in a land far away, there was a wonderful old man who loved everything:animals, spiders, insects…
One day while walking through the woods the nice old man found a cocoon(繭)of a butterfly.He took it home.A few days later,a small opening appeared; he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.Then it seemed to stop making any progress.It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.
Then the man decided to help the butterfly,so he took a pair of scissors and cut off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then came out with ease.
But it had a swollen body and small,shriveled(萎縮的)wings.The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that,at any moment,the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body.Neither happened!In fact,the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings.It never was able to fly.
What the kind-hearted man did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were Nature's way of forcing fluid(液體)from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life.If we were allowed to go through our life without any hardships,it would fail us.We would not be as strong as what we could have been.And we could never fly.
寫作內(nèi)容
1.以約30個詞概括上文的主要內(nèi)容.

(2)敘述當(dāng)前父母溺愛子女的現(xiàn)象和由此造成的后果;

A kind man cut a cocoon open in order to lessen the pain of a butterfly when he saw it struggling out of the cocoon, only to find that it could never fly because of his help.
The story sets me thinking. Our life is more or less like this.Sometimes, struggles or obstacles in our life are a must for our growth. It is these struggles or obstacles that increase our willpower and contribute to our success.Without these trials,we could never achieve our life goal just as the butterfly did in the story.
Nowadays, with only one child in most families, parents do whatever they can to satisfy the child's needs and even do for him what should be done by himself.Consequently, the child is unable to look after himself without his parents'presence.Too much care from parents deprives children of chances to grow strong by conquering obstacles.
If I were a parent,I would first keep him well informed that life is never easy and that he should be ready to face any difficulties.Besides,I would expose him to the hardships in life instead of protecting him from difficulties, providing them with chances to fight for his bright future by conquering challenges..

People have been influenced to become technology addicted.One survey reported that"addicted"was the word most commonly used by people to describe their relationship to iPad and similar devices.One study found that people had a harder time resisting the allure of social media than they did for sleep,cigarettes and alcohol.
The main goal of technology companies is to get people to spend more money and time on their products,not to actually improve our quality of life.They have successfully created a cultural disease.Consumers willingly give up their freedom,money and time to catch up on the latest information,to keep pace with their peers or to appear modern.

Richard Fernandez,an executive coach at Google acknowledged that"we can be swept away by our technologies."To break the grand digital connection people must consider how life long ago could be fantastic without today's overused technology.
