But nowadays,to save the 【3】 (life) of many donkeys, they have found some man-made materials, which are used for the figures in the hands-on area.
【答案】
【1】which
【2】were made
【3】lives
分析句子結(jié)構(gòu),“the earliest of _____ started over 2000 years ago”是定語(yǔ)從句,先行詞是shadow plays,指物,關(guān)系詞在從句中作the earliest of后的介詞賓語(yǔ);在定語(yǔ)從句中,先行詞指物時(shí),在介詞后應(yīng)該用which;此處是“形容詞最高級(jí)+of+which”引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句。故填which。
【2】
考查時(shí)態(tài)和語(yǔ)態(tài)。句意:在過去,真正的皮影人物是用驢皮制作的。根據(jù)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)in the past可知,句子敘述的是過去的情況,應(yīng)該用一般過去時(shí);句子主語(yǔ)the authentic shadow figures和make之間是邏輯上的動(dòng)賓關(guān)系,應(yīng)該用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),因此用一般過去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)be done;短語(yǔ)be made of“由……制成”;主語(yǔ)the authentic shadow figures是復(fù)數(shù),因此謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞也應(yīng)該用復(fù)數(shù)的形式;make是不規(guī)則變化動(dòng)詞,過去式為made。故填were made。
【3】
考查可數(shù)名詞單復(fù)數(shù)。句意:但是現(xiàn)在,為了挽救許多驢子的生命,他們找到了一些人造材料,用于實(shí)際操作部分的皮影人物。life是可數(shù)名詞;根據(jù)many donkeys可知是“許多驢子的生命”,life應(yīng)該用復(fù)數(shù)形式。故填lives。

【題目】 I’d like to share a little story with you about something that happened when I was four. I remember it clearly. Our loving family dog was nearing the end of his life. My father picked him up and put him in a little bed we had made for him. Our dog, my companion, whom we had cared for, bit my father when he attempted to help him. How could he? Why? I couldn’t understand it. I didn’t like him anymore.
I hadn’t thought about that story for a long time but something that happened last week brought it back to me. I went to speak with a friend. When I knocked on the door, I met in an instant an angry look and a few harsh(尖刻的)words. When the door was slammed(砰地關(guān)上)in my face, I stood there shocked, and in a rush, I was reminded of my dog bit my father 20 years ago or so. What brought that story back was that same feeling of betrayal.
Both stories taught me something the next day. You see, when I got up in the morning and was told my dog had died, it became clear to me that he must have been in great pain. For him to have bitten a family member, he could not have been himself. Much the same for the other story when I learned that my friend’s wife had just left him.
We are all beings of our environments, our opinions and feelings. And all of those things can cause you to say and do things that can’t be understood by those who are not in the same situation with you.
If you meet someone either behaving out of character or acting in a way that doesn’t seem to fit the situation, put out your hand and be patient when you think it is least possible for him to do so. You may turn around a story that has a sad ending simply by your actions.

【3】What conclusion did the author get from the two stories?
A.Misunderstanding should be removed in time.

【題目】請(qǐng)閱讀下面短文,并按照要求用英語(yǔ)寫一篇150詞左右的文章。
Much is unknown about how Covid-19, a new coronavirus, spreads. Current knowledge is largely based on what is known about similar coronaviruses. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common in many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats. Rarely, animal coronaviruses can infect people and then spread between people such as with MERS, SARS, and now with Covid-19.
Most often, spread from person-to-person happens among close contacts (about 6 feet). Person-to-person spread is thought to occur mainly via respiratory droplets (呼吸飛沫) produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, similar to how influenza and other respiratory pathogens (病原體) spread. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. It's currently unclear if a person can get Covid-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.
It's important to note that how easily a virus spreads person-to-person can vary. Some viruses are highly contagious (傳染性) (like measles), while other viruses are less so. There is much more to learn about the transmissibility severity, and other features associated with Covid-19.
