One night, while Xiao Ming and his father were sleeping, a thief which face was
covered with a piece of cloth entered into the room quietly, held a knife in his hand.
Although he tried to walk as quietly as possibly, Xiao Ming and his father were
woken up. Realizing what had happened, they fight bravely against the thief.
Suddenly Xiao Ming came up an idea. He threw a drawing pin on the floor where the
thief might pass. Like expected, the thief stepped on a pin and was badly hurt.
Screaming in great pain, the thieves fell down. Xiao Ming and his father took the
chance to tie the thief up. With Xiao Ming’s clever, they finally won the unexpected
battle.

Dear Grandpa,
How are you those days? I have been missing you very   much after I went to college a year ago. Whenever I think of  the old days, I feel very happily. I still remember when I was child; you always held me in your arms and told me stories till I fall asleep. We often went to the fields to enjoy the pleasant view there. You told me the name of different plants and their characteristics. Gradually, I became interesting in biology  and chose to learn biology when I entered into the college. I have recently felt guilty, stay sleepless at night. You may wonder how. To tell you the truth, it is just because of the fact that I seldom cheat in exams and I just can’t stop me. In many exams, I used cellphones to surf the net for answer. Besides, I sometimes referred them to my notebooks so copied something. All of us need friendship. The understanding   between two friends mean both of them have similar ideas and trusting each other. Otherwise, it isimpossible for him to help each other and to maketheir friendship to last long. As an old saying goes，  “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” So really friendship   should able to stand all sorts of tests. And it iswise to have as many good friends that we can.  The more friends we have，the more we can learn for one another, but the more pleasure we can share together.

When we had our class, our psychology teacher would take any liquid medicine from a tiny bottle. This touched the whole classes. We thought that he should ask for leave and stayed at home for a rest, so he came to each class on time. Therefore, all of us studied psychology hard than we did any other subject. In the end of that term, we told him that how much we appreciated him. We were so worrying about her health that we asked him what disease he got and what medicine he took. With satisfied smile, he said, “I'm quite all right and it's a bottle of tea.”
