A group of frogs was traveling through the woods and two of them fell into a pit(坑). All the other frogs gathered around it and watched as the two frogs tried to jump out. The pit was very deep and it looked as if there was no way      , so they started yelling at the two frogs to       . "The pit is too deep. You will die," they said together. When the       frogs kept trying, the crowd yelled      . After a while, one of the frogs believed what the others were saying, and fell down and      .
But      , the second frog kept jumping hard       the negative remarks of those that kept yelling at her to accept the       and just die. Finally, with one big leap, she       it out of the pit!
In fact, the second frog was       and unable to hear what the others had been saying. She thought they had been       her on the entire time they were yelling! What she had       considered as encouragement       her to try harder and succeed. And that made all the
With a positive       and being deaf to others' opinions, the second frog reached her goals by using such       as encouragement, instead of being       by others like the first frog, who failed to develop her       to struggle for survival.      , when we overcome others' criticism or       comments, we can do anything we set our minds to, just as the second frog did.

We had a new teacher in my high school World History class. She was very nice and excited to see us. She told a story about her      fighting in a war and brought a picture of him. After about fifteen      of her talking, the class started talking softly to each other       they were getting bored. I told her I had been     , and even though I may not entirely like     , I did appreciate her sharing her story. I asked her      about her father and asked to see the picture of him. We had a very nice, genuine conversation about her father.
The teacher was     . She really appreciated me coming up and actually treating her with the       that she deserved. I felt at full peace with myself knowing that I did the right thing and I was super happy that I actually     . If I had just left the class without saying a word, I would have felt extremely      and would have a constant reminder, probably to this day, that      was not served and I had left a person in their time of need.

Eighty-year-old retired tailor, James McKay, spent Saturday night in jail after      thirty-year-old Keith Smith over the head      his walking stick. McKay's wife, Laurence told us that while McKay is usually a        person, he had been        to this act of violence by getting wet just once too often.
Smith lives above the McKays and it appears that not only is he a keen gardener, he is also a        collector. Unfortunately for him, the water he sent over his balcony every day ended up on the McKay's, or too often, on the McKays       .
“For the last fortnight, since Smith moved into the flat above us, we have hardly dared to go to our       ,” said Laurence. She added that it wasn't so much the water falling onto their balcony from Smith watering his plant        bothered them, it was more the way he cleaned his fish tanks. “We'd be        there happily reading our newspapers, when        so much water would come from above that we'd be as wet as if we'd        with our clothes on! Neither could we get rid of the        of fish!”
And on Saturday evening it was just too       . “It was James's birthday,” explained Laurence, “and I'd made him a birthday cake. The candles were a great sight as you can imagine, but James didn't get to blow them out.”       , Smith emptied one of his larger tanks over his balcony and both the McKays and the cake were wet       . Rarely had Laurence seen McKay move so fast. “I couldn't        him. He was up there in a flash. It was the fastest I'd seen him move since 1964.”
Smith is not going to take things further with the police. He has also promised to change his        from now on. And what of James McKay?        he left the police station, a large crowd of supporters sang him, “Happy Birthday”. “      the most exciting birthday       !” said the cheerful old man. “The best since my adolescence I'd say!”

There is a small shop about 200 meters from where I live that sells groceries, meat and other basic necessities. About 10 years ago, there was a beggar who would go into the shop every day and ask the owner for a    36  . The owner,   37   he would love to help, simply didn’t have any jobs available, so he kept   38   the man’s request.
This situation continued    39   for a few months, until the owner    40    to give the homeless man a job which    41  sweeping outside the shop. Every single day from 5 am, the homeless man was there doing the very    42  he could for the    43  , even though it did earn him some pennies.    44   , the owner saw how good a job the man was doing and gave him a job working    45  a cashier. He was watched closely to make sure that he didn’t    46  any of the money received from the sales. He was still homeless, after all. The homeless man did a/an    47  job as a cashier for over 2 years, and did such a good job that he was promoted to    48   the finances for the whole shop.
To my    49  , this was the arrangement up until 2 years ago, when the owner     50   . In his will, he only had one    51   , to give the whole shop to the now stable, “homeless” man. Now, I could walk into that shop and see him working as hard as   52  , with his own business that is still   53   and active 10 years after getting his job as a sweeper.
From this story, we can probably get the inspiration: work hard and give everything your best effort, even if it isn’t your    54   situation, it very well may turn out to    55  some day in the future.
