I’m a senior school student, so I like English very much. Besides attending to English lessons at school, I often go to the English Corner in the park near my home on Sunday mornings. Maria, a 91-year-old woman, has an unbelievable experience last week. A group of thieves broke in her house but took nothing away with them. Maria recalled that the windows were broken and that all her box were opened, but nothing was missing. Students participating in theChicago CampusSummer Reading/Language Arts Program may be interested in enrolling in afternoon activities at the Laboratory School’s Summer Lab 2017. Summer Lab will provide shuttle service from HPDS to Lab at the conclusion of morning classes at Hyde Park Day School. Students may bring their lunch or purchase it at the Lab cafeteria. Giant pandas are lovely angels. They mainly have two hobby, namely climbing trees and sleeping. Thought they are heavy, they can climb trees as easy as some other animals do. Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards them may have a big difference. I still remember that my spoken English improved. In beginning, I always kept silent in the oral class to prevent myself from make mistakes. Before long my teacher knew about his situation. He encouraged me to speak out what I wanted to say regardless on mistakes. Whenever I have made mistakes and felt discouraged, my teacher and classmate would help me figure out how I could avoid them in the future. With time going by, I built up my confidence and now I can talk fluent in English. However, we just need to learn a lesson from the mistakes in order to improve our English.
